Buisnessmen's apartment for occasional use
Interior renovation
This interior design project involved the complete renovation of a three-bedroom apartment in the city center for a single businessman who frequently visits the area. Instead of staying in hotels, he decided to create a personalized and comfortable space tailored to his needs. The project was a fast-paced challenge, completed in just three months from our initial meeting to the final delivery and photoshoot. It pushed my skills to the limit, requiring quick decision-making, meticulous coordination with contractors and carpenters, and frequent site visits—up to 3-5 times a week. While coordinating all the suppliers, material sample sselection, and ensured seamless execution while maintaining the client’s trust in my vision. Remarkably, the client never visited the site during construction but was delighted with the final result, which exceeded his expectations.

Pre-renovation
The pre-renovation photos capture the apartment’s outdated design, which didn’t reflect the client’s lifestyle or the purpose of the space. Since this apartment was meant for occasional business trips rather than everyday living, it needed a more modern and functional approach. To keep the renovation process efficient, the renovation process, the original floor finishes were preserved, and structural changes to the partitions were minimized, providing a foundation for a streamlined and efficient transformation.

Concept
The reimagined transformation of the space was initially presented through quick, conceptual collages, allowing the client to easily grasp the proposed level of intervention. These visual proposals served as the foundation for the design process, ensuring clarity and establishing confidence in the project’s direction. The design language embraced calm yet structured shapes and materials, reflecting the nature and the purpose as a business retreat. While the overall design leans toward a strict, minimalist aesthetic, softer elements like the sofa, carpet, fabric, and decor introduce a relaxed atmosphere, creating a balanced atmosphere.

Construction
The construction process, captured in these photos, highlights the transformation from the outdated interior to a refined, modern space. The first step involved removing all the pre-existing wall panels and moldings, followed by the arrival and installation of new ceramic tiles. The redesign of the ceiling and light fixtures brought a fresh, contemporary feel to the space, complemented by a cohesive new paint scheme throughout the apartment. Veneer samples were carefully selected for the wall panels, ensuring the perfect balance of texture and tone, before their installation began. Throughout the process, I worked closely with carpenters and contractors, focusing on the fine details of the joints to achieve a seamless result.

Decor
The close-up photos highlight the final stages of the project, focusing on the intricate details and decor process that brought the interior to life. Once all the furniture had arrived, the selection of decor elements, curtain fabrics, and carpets began. Working within tight timelines, I carefully researched and sourced items that were readily available and aligned with the design vision. This process involved sending numerous inquiries to ensure each product complemented the overall aesthetic. The final decor elements, thoughtfully chosen and placed, completed the interior, adding warmth and character to the space.
